Introduction
The RC Baja competition is a senior project that is hosted annually by CWU ASME, it involves students competing in a contest of remote-controlled cars of their design. These cars must be able to navigate a set course that will test the capability of the car and it must be able to complete it with speed and precision. The project is broken up into two different portions one of them being suspension and steering and the other being drive train and chassis.

Motivation
The motivation to choose the RC Baja project comes from an interest in working on vehicles and having family that had great interest in RC cars and the racing of them. In general, this project is extremely intriguing.

Results
The RC car did extremely well overall in the competition. It came 4th place overall. It sustained some damage during the first race which was the drag with one of the shocks being completely bent but was still able to compete in the other races and did well.
